Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry seeks to come alongside and encourage families as our children grow in their knowledge of God and experience the love found in Jesus Christ.

For more information, contact Danielle Barger: danielle@incarnationwburg.com.

Children (5–9)

During fall and spring, our children’s ministry follows the God’s Big Story curriculum. Children leave the service before the sermon and rejoin for communion.

Nursery (0–4)

Parents may drop-off children before the service begins and pick them up during the announcements. Two screened and trained adults supervise the nursery and pagers are provided to parents if the child needs care during the service.

All of our Children’s Ministry volunteers are required to complete training as set by the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic, found here.

EVENTS

Egyptian Adventure

All school-age children and youth are invited to celebrate our partnership with the School for the Deaf in Cairo, Egypt.  This drop-off event will occur on Sunday, May 19, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the Haber family’s home (address to follow).   We will enjoy Egyptian food and songs and learn sign language, too!   Please RSVP to Ro Seaman at meadowjoy@gmail.com or (757)-746-8898.
